Here's a simple guide on how to spot it.

Healthy Mycelium

If it's white, it's healthy. (The white stuff is the 'roots' of your mushrooms.)

Also Healthy Mycelium

If it's white with yellow droplets, that's also healthy. (The yellow droplets are waste products of the mushroom's roots.)

Signs of contamination

If it's any other colour, that's contamination.
