5 simple steps to your own supply of mushrooms

Inject spores

Spores are the 'seeds' that grow mushrooms.

Set heat mat to 30°C

Mushrooms require warm temperatures to grow.

Squeeze bag

This speeds up the growth of the mushroom's roots throughout the soil.

Grow and Harvest

After ~4 weeks you're ready to harvest!

Soak bag and repeat

Get your second, third or maybe even fourth harvest!

We don't provide the spore syringe.

But they're easy to find online.

FAQs

How long until I harvest?

Around 7–12 weeks from start to first harvest: 3–4 weeks for the bag to colonise, then 4–8 weeks to fruit. Most bags produce more than one harvest.

What else do I need?

A spore or culture syringe (3–10ml), sourced separately. Everything else is in the box.

Is it reusable?

Yes — the Toolbox lasts indefinitely. Each new grow just needs a fresh Grow Bag.

What if something goes wrong?

Every kit is covered by the Mentis Mushroom Guarantee — if your bag contaminates or the kit doesn't perform, we troubleshoot, replace, or refund.

How fast is delivery?

We aim to dispatch the same or next working day using Royal Mail's Tracked 48 hour service, which is usually reliable but sometimes takes a little longer.
